Well, we got back to Los Angeles just in time for some June gloom. Thanks mother nature. Way to make leaving a tropical island even harder by giving us cold, crappy weather. On another note, I headed straight to the doctor on Monday after getting home from the airport, and found out that I had a Staph infection in a few of the cuts on my ankles. Not toooo bad, just pretty gross cause its like pussy and unhealed wounds. So I just covered them up with some Spongebob and Disney Princess bandaids to not creep people out! Luckily I'm on antiobiotics and have a check-up appointment on Friday, so hopefully I'll be all better by the time I am in Florida! Now that we are back, we are having crunch time until next Friday. We have a scientific article to write about our research, a video to make for our COSEE project and a 30 minute presentation to make and present at the research symposium next week. So until then, we will be holed up inside working and day dreaming of Tahiti!
As for my post graduation plans, it will be pretty dang crazy that first week! Sunday night after my graduation, I will be driving home with my family to their house in Norcal. On Monday I will be running around trying to gather all my things and buy anything I need for work. My dad and I will fly to Florida on Tuesday and stay with my Uncle Chris and Aunt Peggy for the night. On Wednesday we will be driving to Orlando, and then on Thursday I will check into my apartment and head to my first day of work at Disney!!! So hectic and busy, but exciting!!!
