Yoav came to visit at the beginning of the month and we did lots of fun things! We went to Miami, saw some movies, got a visit from his sister, brother-in-law and niece, and went to the Magic Kingdom!
I finally got to participate in Disney's Dolphins in Depth, the dolphin encounter guest program at The Seas! One of the perks of being a marine mammal intern is that we all got to pretend to be a guest for a day and experience the program! You start by learning all about Atlantic bottlenose dolphins- anatomy, food, training, etc. Then you change into a wetsuit and get in the water with the trainers and the dolphins! So much fun, and I got paid to particpate!!! (And legit, since it normally costs like 200 dollars!)

I pretty much haven't done too much else this month besides working. My roommate Amy and I hit up Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom and the water park Typhoon Lagoon last week since we both had Friday and Saturday off. I never get bored of going to the parks since its always free! And since there is basically nothing else to do around here. haha.

I started taking a yoga class on Tuesday nights with my roommates Amy and Lauren at the gym at our apartment complex. Even though its pretty hard (since I'm really not flexible), I really like it! I'm also just started to swim more regularly since being a trainer requires really good swimming skills. I need to work on holding my breath, since the SeaWorld swim test requires that you swim 110 ft on one breath! Dang!!! I've pretty much been spending all my free time looking for animal trainer jobs in California. I just love my job so much, and I really really want to be a trainer now!
The upcoming week is going to be really fun! I'm going to Islands of Adventure with Amy tomorrow so we can go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!!! And then next Thursday all my roommates and I are going to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween Party! I'm off today, and I'm not sure what I will do, maybe just relax and do nothing for a change!
